The Champions League trophy will arrive in Cardiff later, ahead of the city hosting world football's biggest club final.

It is being flown over from Uefa headquarters in Switzerland along with the Women's Champions League trophy.

A parade will take place in the city centre at 16:45 BST.

Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Monaco and Real Madrid are vying for a place in the men's final at the Principality Stadium on 3 June.

The women's final will be held at the Cardiff City Stadium two days earlier.

There will be road closures between 16:30 and 17:30 while the trophies are paraded from Cardiff Castle to the stadium.

The trophies will then go on tour around Wales in the build up to the finals.
