A road where a woman and two boys were injured after a van crashed into them in Pembrokeshire has reopened.

A white BT Openreach van hit the trio on Sydney Rees Way, Haverfordwest, at 15:45 GMT on Sunday.

One of the boys suffered serious injures, while the woman and the other child had minor injuries. All were taken to the town's Withybush Hospital.

The boy has been transferred to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.

The road was closed for several hours but reopened late on Sunday night.

A spokesman for Openreach said: "Our thoughts are with those that were injured in this tragic incident.

"We are helping police with their inquiries and it would be inappropriate for us to make any further comment at this time."
